State Examination Board, Gandhinagar has issued notice to extend the date. Candidates can check the new dates given below. National Means cum Merit Scholarship Examination for Gujarat will be held on 28th February 2021. Only students who get a place in the merit list declared by the admission authority will be able to get admission. NMMS - Awards

N.M.M.S. Distributes a total of 100,000 scholarships to selected students at a rate of ,000 12,000 per year, or 1000 1,000 per month. Under the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, the scholarship amount is paid by the State Bank of India (SBI) on a one-time basis. This amount is transferred directly to the student's account through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The number of scholarships allotted to each State and Union Territory is calculated on the basis of enrollment of students in Class 7 and 8 and their population in the respective States. Details of the NMMS amount are published below.


9th class students receive a one-time scholarship, i.e. Rs. 12,000 per annum for the academic year.

The scholarship is renewed every year until the student completes his / her higher secondary level education (Class 12), however every year the candidate gets a clear promotion in the higher class.

NMMS - Important Dates

This MCM Scholarship is usually announced during the month of August every year and its last date is in the month of October. The duration of this application is temporary as it varies from year to year. It may change next year at the discretion of the scholarship provider. For the academic year 2020-21, the last date to apply for this scholarship is 31 December 2020.


NMMS - Eligibility Criteria

Applied only to eligible and needy students in India, this MCM Scholarship Scheme expects all applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the selection test for scholarships.

Gujarat NMMS 2020 - 2021 Admission Card

Gujarat NMMS The 2020 Admit Card application form will be released online after successful completion. Candidates will be able to download the admission card from the official site or from the direct link given below. Candidates will have to select their confirmation number, date of birth and exam to download their admission number.

Cut off to

The cut will be released after the result is announced. Candidates are advised to check here to know the cutoff. A direct link will be available here. Candidates who qualify for Gujarat NMMS 2020 - 21 will be able to avail the benefits of the scheme. For both these tests students should pass both MAT and SAT with at least 40% marks. For SC / ST students, this cut will be 323% marks. For the convenience of the candidate we will provide a cut off here on our page.

Applied only to eligible and needy students in India, this NMMS Scholarship Scheme expects all applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the selection test conducted for scholarships.

Candidates wishing to apply for this MCM Scholarship must be regular students studying in Std. 8 after getting clear promotion from Std. 7 with at least 55% or equivalent grade.
Candidates must get education from Government / Local Institutions / Government Supporting Schools.

To continue the scholarship in higher secondary school, the candidate has to get at least 60% marks in the 10th standard board examination.


In order to continue the scholarship in class 12, the scholarship award must receive a clear promotion from class 11 in the first attempt with 55% marks or equivalent. For SC / ST category students, %% discount in marks is given.
The annual family income of the candidates should not exceed INR 1.5 lakh.
Also, students who enroll in NVS, KVS, soldier schools and private schools are not eligible for this NMMS Scholarship.

How to apply for NMMS Scholarship?

If you wish to apply for NMMS, you must ensure that you meet all eligibility criteria for this NMMS Scholarship. Students can apply form NMMS online through the National Scholarship Portal. Students are also informed about the availability of NMMS application form by the officials of their schools. The last date for submission of filled Nline NMMS applications is taken by the State Nodal Officer every year. Students can download the filled form from the official website or collect the same from their schools.

In case of offline fly mode, students will have to submit the completed NMMS application form along with the required documents to the school where they are studying. Candidates whose forms have been accepted will be able to collect admission cards from the respective schools a few days before the examination. Follow the instructions below to successfully submit the NMMS application form:
Online candidates can get the NMMS application form through online mode, and two certified hard copies of the application form along with the required documents have to be submitted to the concerned school. The head of the school must send the applications to the nodal schools and keep a copy of it for school records.

Along with the NMMS application form, students will have to attach some documents. All documents must be certified by the school principal and parents. Check the required documents which should be attached with the NMMS application form-
